Forget AI for a second. Davos agrees what truly matters for leaders.

This was my first time at Davos, and wow! It's quite a surprising experience seeing Amy Edmondson, Adam Grant, and Brené Brown talking to a group of people, just while I stroll down the promenade.

What wasn't surprising, is all the buzz about AI and - what for me the most interesting is - the future of work and leadership. It's clear that the future belongs to those who invest in themselves.

Some years ago, I remember feeling both excited and terrified when I first experimented with ChatGPT (a much clunkier version than what we have now!). As a non-techie, I kept trying it, half wanting more of it and half expecting the magic to wear off.

But it didn't. This was the future, and it was here to stay.

I felt like I was about to become a horse-drawn carriage on a 26-lane highway!

Since then, I've gotten pretty good at using AI daily at work, at my own company and in my private stuff - check out my favorite tools in the comments. 👇

But here's the thing: while AI is evolving fast, we humans are still in control.

It's funny, but learning about AI has actually made me better at understanding people and communicating with them. Empathy and communication skills are super important, they're not going anywhere.

My bet: these will separate the great leaders from the average ones in the intelligent age. As long as I keep practicing them, I'll always be able to upgrade from that horse-drawn carriage to the fastest sports car on the road.

It's been amazing connecting with people here in Davos, both at the official events and grabbing a bite at the food trucks.
