Who's cheering you on towards your goals?

Where I grew up, competition was everything. Being the best was one of the only ways to get ahead and build a good life.

That idea really shaped how I started out in my career. I used to think there was just one path to success—my path. I loved working with people who were just like me.

Similarity bias at its finest.

Of course, I thought I could handle it all by myself.

Turns out, I was wrong. Slowly but surely, I started building my tribe.

Let me explain what I mean. I've learned that diverse perspectives aren't obstacles, they're opportunities for growth. Building a tribe means letting go of ego and finding those who uplift you, challenge you, and inspire you to be your best.

I'm so grateful for the chance to contribute to the empowering conversations happening in the latest edition of the Ladies Drive magazine. Thank you Sandra-Stella Triebl for allowing me to share my insights on building tribes and many more. It was great fun!
