Time to grow?

Last week, I started an exciting chapter: a 10-month journey at IMD to become a 𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩. It's a commitment to deepen my leadership skills and open up new possibilities for the future.

Truth be told, I wasn't always so sure. With a career and education in economics and finance, it really felt outside my comfort zone.

I also hesitated adding another layer to my already full plate. How could I possibly fit it all in?

 

And if I'm being honest, I questioned whether I had the wisdom to guide others and if I really had the answers to other people's problems.

I almost talked myself out of it completely. But then something shifted. I realized that the very things that scared me about coaching were the reasons I needed to pursue it.  So, one morning I woke up and I signed up!

That initial discomfort was actually a signal. Instead of backing down, I saw it as a challenge to embrace and an opportunity to grow.

And the fear of not having all the answers? It was a reminder that coaching is about empowering others to find their own solutions, not dictating mine.

Still managing the logistics part 🤭, but thanks to my wonderful support network, we will get this right.

So, here I am, jumping into a 10-month adventure! I'm eager to learn, grow, and connect with my group of wonderful fellow students and the lovely IMD professors.
