AI Setup and Coaching for Swiss Small Business Owners
Zürich · Switzerland
The Change Republic sets up AI for owner-led Swiss businesses with 1 to 20 people: on your own computer, with your own data, until you can run it yourself.
Has Anyone Shown You What AI Can Do in Your Own Business?
You have heard the talks and read the headlines. At some event, somebody told you that AI will change everything.
On Monday you were back in your business and everything was as before. The inbox was full. The customer list still lived in a system from fifteen years ago. The newsletter was still waiting to be written.
There is plenty of free advice. YouTube videos, podcasts, online courses. Very few owners have the evenings for them, and a video cannot look at your business.
That is the work I do. I sit down with you, at your desk, with your laptop open. We set AI up on the work you already do. Then I show you how to run it yourself.

AI Setup and Coaching For Small Business Owners
I spend much of my year inside large companies. I give keynotes and run workshops on AI for leadership teams across Switzerland and Europe.
I see the same thing in almost all of them.
The company buys the tools and the licences go live. The people further down never feel that AI is theirs. Nobody has shown them what it does for their own Tuesday morning, so they leave it alone.
Owners of small businesses tell me a similar story. They go to events about AI, they listen, and nobody translates it into a business like theirs.
I believe people have to feel AI before they trust it. They have to watch it take one real task off their desk.
A small business has a big advantage here. In a large company that moment can take a year of committees. In your business, you decide. We can choose a tool on Monday and have it working by Friday.
My name is Tünde Lukacs. I spent nearly 20 years in senior leadership, including as a Partner at one of the Big 4 firms. Then I left and built my own company, The Change Republic.
I run it with a team of AI agents that I built myself. One collects my receipts for the bookkeeping. Another emails me every weekday at six in the morning to tell me which proposals are still open.
So I know this from the owner's chair. I have no IT department and no marketing team either, and I still want things done properly.
Most of what AI can take over in a small business is the operational work around your craft. The paperwork, the sorting, the first drafts, the follow-ups. Your time belongs with your customers and with the work that brings in revenue.
Tünde Lukacs is a Zürich-based executive coach and keynote speaker on AI and leadership, and the founder of The Change Republic. She sets up AI for owner-led small businesses across Switzerland and coaches their owners to run it themselves. She is IMD-certified and ICF-certified, spoke at TEDx Zürich on what AI cannot hear, and works in English, German, Italian and Hungarian.

Can AI Assistants Find Your Business?
Here is a check that takes two minutes.
Open ChatGPT, or any other AI assistant. Ask it what a new customer would ask: "Can you recommend a good [your trade] in [your town]?"
Read the answer. See who is named, and whether you are.
Some of your future customers already choose this way. If the answer surprises you, bring it to our first call. It is a good place to start.
Who Is It For?
Owners of small businesses in Switzerland, usually with 1 to 20 people, who make the decisions themselves.
You have no IT department and nobody in charge of marketing.
You have paid agencies or freelancers before and expected more for the money.
Your customer list lives in an old system, a spreadsheet or your head.
You want to understand AI and steer it, without doing it yourself every day.
You care about data protection and want it handled properly.
One condition: the decision is yours. This work needs the owner at the table and cannot be handed to someone else in the business.
Sessions in English, German, Italian and Hungarian, across Switzerland.
What Is AI Setup and Coaching for Small Businesses?
AI setup and coaching is a hands-on service for owners of small Swiss businesses. I set up AI on your own computer and your own systems, connect it to the work you already do, and coach you until you can run it without me.
It has a beginning and an end. There is no maintenance contract and no open-ended retainer.
After about three months you should no longer need me.
What Does the Setup Cover?
Four building blocks. Which ones you need comes out of the first session.
-
Your own AI assistant. It is installed on your computer and connected to your email, your files and your browser. It drafts, sorts, finds and prepares. You approve.
-
A customer list that works. Your contacts and past orders move out of the old system into a modern one, sorted so that a newsletter reaches the right people.
-
Being found. The basics that help Google and AI assistants understand your business: page titles, descriptions, image descriptions, your Google Business Profile and the directories that matter in your trade.
-
Privacy, done properly. Every setup follows the same data protection routine. It is described further down this page.
How Does It Work? Three Steps
Every business is different, so the work starts with a look at yours.
Step 1. The starting session. Three hours, at your business. We look at your laptop, your systems, your customer list and how you are found online. You receive a written roadmap and a fixed price for step 2. The roadmap is yours, whatever you decide next.
Step 2. The setup. I build what the roadmap says, at the agreed fixed price. You see every piece and test it yourself.
Step 3. Coaching alongside. For three months we meet for two working sessions a month. You run the system. I sit next to you, fix what is awkward and add what is missing. Then we stop.
How Is Your Data Protected?
Data protection is usually the first question, and it should be. This is what I do in every setup:
Training on your data is switched off in every AI tool we use.
Your data is stored in Switzerland or the EU.
Everything runs in your own accounts, under your name. Nothing sits with me.
Nothing is sent, posted or published without your approval.
You receive a short written overview of which tool holds which data, so your privacy notice can be kept up to date.
I am a coach and I am no lawyer. When a question about the Swiss Data Protection Act belongs with your lawyer, I will tell you.

Is AI Safe for a Small Swiss Business? What to Check Before You Start
What Can AI Take Over in a Business With Fewer Than 20 People?
AI can be used safely in a small Swiss business when five things are settled before the first customer name goes into a tool. Training on your data is switched off. You know in which country the data is stored. Every tool runs in an account that belongs to the business. Nothing leaves without a person approving it. One written page says which tool holds which data. This article walks through the five checks in plain language, shows where a lawyer belongs, and explains how to start with material that contains no customer data at all.
In a business with fewer than 20 people, AI can take over most of the work that repeats: sorting routine email and drafting answers, first versions of posts and newsletters from your own photos, collecting receipts, preparing quotes, keeping the customer list tidy and reminding you what is still open. The conversation with the customer, the price you decide and the craft itself stay with the owner. Tünde Lukacs shows how this line runs in her own small company, where AI agents she built herself collect receipts, list open proposals every morning at six and prepare her meetings, while nothing goes to another person without her approval. The article ends with a simple test any owner can run this week, with no setup at all.
Three kinds of provider offer AI help to a small Swiss business. A marketing agency does the work for you and bills you every month. An IT provider keeps computers, email and network running, and many now add a Microsoft Copilot rollout. An AI setup with coaching builds the tools into your own daily work, teaches you to run them, and then ends. This article explains what each one sells, where each one fits, and what none of them will tell you in the first meeting. It closes with three questions an owner can answer in five minutes: do I want this task done for me or do I want to be able to do it, does the contract have an end, and does everything sit in my own accounts when the work is over.
