Who I Am and Why I Built The Change Republic

Hi, I would like to (re)introduce myself, as quite a few of you have joined me here over the past few months.
Hi, I would like to (re)introduce myself, as quite a few of you have joined me here over the past few months. 🙏
I am Tünde, and this is my story. Well, a part of it.
Almost a year ago I left one of the Big 4 firms in Zürich, where I was a Partner, and went to build my own business full time, The Change Republic
Huh, funny name for a company, you may say.
That story is way older. I grew up in a small town in Eastern Hungary in the 90s.
The Berlin wall had just come down when I started school. That's when I learned that everything can change overnight, and that waiting for the old rules to come back is not a plan.
This idea has been sticking with me ever since.
So, today I do three things.
→ I speak. Keynotes at conferences, corporate events and company offsites, mostly on change, AI and leadership.
→ I coach people. Executives and professionals in the middle of a career move.
→ I coach teams. Usually when the change is already decided and the people are not on board yet.
I also write about these all the time here: https://www.thechangerepublic.com/newsletter
Change, AI, career. Those three are somehow always coming up together, so I stopped separating them.
I am Swiss and Hungarian, married to an Italian, mom to a teenager and to Atzouki, the shiba, so family dinners are loud. And I work in four languages.
That is what you will see from me here:
→ real stories from my work (names & co changed)
→ what I learn about AI, tested on my own business first
→ notes from the stages and rooms I speak in
So, welcome, so glad you follow along. What brought you here?
Hugs,
Tünde
Why change, AI and career never stayed in separate boxes for me
People sometimes ask why The Change Republic covers keynote speaking, executive coaching and team coaching instead of picking one lane. The honest answer is that in every room I work in, the same three things show up together: something is changing, AI is usually part of why, and it is landing on people mid-career, whether they asked for it or not. Separating those into different services never matched what clients actually brought me.
The Berlin Wall story is not just a nice childhood anecdote either. It is the actual root of the C-H-A-N-G-E framework I use with clients: the belief that waiting for the old rules to come back is not a plan, and that taking control of your own next move is. I built a company around that idea before I had a name for the framework.
If you are working out your own next chapter, three questions I would ask before a big move:
→ What are you waiting to go back to that is not coming back
→ What is the one thing you would do differently if you decided today
→ Who already knows the answer and just has not said it out loud yet
