A Swiss newspaper just asked their readers.

As you can guess, the article was about people using ChatGPT to handle dĖķiĖķfĖķfĖķiĖķcĖķuĖķlĖķtĖķ courageous conversations and get advice.

As an executive coach who uses her proprietary AI coach with clients, this made me think.

𝗛ð—ēð—ŋð—ē'𝘀 𝘄ð—ĩð—Ū𝘁 𝗜 ð—ģ𝗞𝘂ð—ŧð—ą ð—ķð—ŧ𝘁ð—ēð—ŋð—ē𝘀𝘁ð—ķð—ŧð—ī:

The therapist they interviewed wasn't against AI. She saw both sides.

â†ģ The helpful part: AI can help you step back from tense moments and find better ways to communicate. Like this prompt: "𝘏ð˜Ķð˜ð˜ą ð˜Ūð˜Ķ ð˜īð˜Ē𝘚 ð˜ļð˜Đð˜Ēð˜ĩ 𝘐 𝘧ð˜Ķð˜Ķ𝘭 𝘊ð˜Ŋ ð˜Ē ð˜ļð˜Ē𝘚 ð˜ĩð˜Đð˜Ķ 𝘰ð˜ĩð˜Đð˜Ķð˜ģ ð˜ąð˜Ķð˜ģð˜ī𝘰ð˜Ŋ ð˜Īð˜Ēð˜Ŋ ð˜Ēð˜Īð˜ĩð˜ķð˜Ē𝘭𝘭𝘚 ð˜Đð˜Ķð˜Ēð˜ģ."

â†ģ The risky part: Some people were replacing real conversations with AI advice. Using it to avoid tough talks instead of having them.

𝗧ð—ĩð—ķ𝘀 𝗚ð—Ū𝘁𝗰ð—ĩð—ē𝘀 𝘄ð—ĩð—Ū𝘁 𝗜 𝘀ð—ēð—ē 𝘄ð—ķ𝘁ð—ĩ 𝗰ð—đð—ķð—ēð—ŧ𝘁𝘀.

AI can help you prepare for difficult meetings, work through complex feelings, or get clarity when you're stuck.

But it works best when it helps you show up better in real conversations.

Not when it replaces them.

The sweet spot is using AI's availability and fresh perspective alongside human experience and judgment.

Have you used AI for dĖķiĖķfĖķfĖķiĖķcĖķuĖķlĖķtĖķ courageous conversations?
